We are a small nonprofit servicing many youth in the area. Volunteers play a vital role in sustaining our programs. There are many ways to get involved. The Elementary Schools Tennis Challenge held every spring at the Alabama State Fairgrounds is a great opportunity to see first time tennis players compete. On average about 200 youth from twenty different schools compete in the Challenge.
Another way to get involved is to assist with Rallyball competitions. The enthusiasm of the kids is contagious. Help keep score and celebrate with our teams. These competitions take place every season for three weeks. Please see calendar for specific dates and sites. No tennis experience is necessary.
For the volunteer with weekly dedication, our after school program is the position for you. In our after school program you have the opportunity to work with the Coach and the Life Skills Instructor to mentor the youth in several areas, including nutrition, self respect and conflict resolution.
