According to the USTA , Jr. Team Tennis involves youth playing singles, doubles and mixed doubles against other teams. It promotes social skills and important values by fostering a spirit of cooperation and unity, as well as individual self-growth. Also, it's a fun environment for kids in which they learn that succeeding is really more about how they play the game - win or lose.
LETT offers several divisions of Jr. Team Tennis. Our team practices at West Homewood Park on Saturdays from 9-12 and Mondays 5:30-7:30. If you are interested in Jr. Team Tennis with the LETT program, please contact lett.tennis@gmail.com
In addition to LETT's Jr. Team, there are several other tennis clubs and parks throughout Jefferson, Shelby, St. Clair and Blount Count offering team tennis.
